Asexual Rings
Filters
Asexual rings can offer a personal expression of ace identity. A plain black band is one option; a design in asexual flag colors is another. Our current collection contains two black-finished solid gold bands for people who prefer a simple black ring rather than a striped pride design.
Black ace rings with a simple profile
The Black Promise Ring for Women and Men is made in solid 14K gold with black rhodium plating and a listed band thickness of 2 mm. The Black Promise Ring for Couples offers a 3 mm version in the same stated materials.
Both are existing black-band designs. Their product names describe a promise-ring use, but the wearer can choose a personal meaning. The couples title does not make the listing a two-ring set: order each ring you need separately.
Ace identity and your own way of wearing it
A black ring on the right middle finger is a convention recognized within the asexual community. It is a choice, not a requirement. Select the finger, size and style that feel right to you; jewelry does not determine or validate identity.
These bands do not include the black, gray, white and purple stripes of the ace flag. If that color scheme matters to your choice, do not assume a plain black ring has it. Our present selection is focused on black bands.
Materials and care for a black finish
Black rhodium is a surface finish over the gold base, rather than a naturally black metal. Plating can wear with use. Ask about finish maintenance before ordering, and compare the stated dimensions and available sizes.
For a different design, discuss a request through our custom ring service before buying. Read our ace ring guide for the distinction between black bands, flag designs and personal styling.
