Frequently Asked Questions
Is a 14K gold promise ring solid gold or gold plated?
Every ring in this collection is solid 14K gold (58.5% pure gold) all the way through, not a gold layer over silver or brass. Most designs can also be ordered in 14K white or rose gold.
What stones are used in these gold promise rings?
Diamonds, moissanite or sapphire — never cubic zirconia. Each listing states the stone, its size in mm and, for diamonds, the color and clarity (most of our dainty diamond rings use F color, VS1 clarity stones).
Will a 14K gold ring tarnish or turn my finger green?
No. Solid 14K gold does not tarnish, does not need re-plating and is safe to wear every day. Clean it with mild soap and warm water; white gold may need a fresh rhodium finish after a few years to stay bright white.
Is a thin 1 mm gold band durable enough to wear every day?
Yes, for everyday wear. Solid gold bands of 1–1.5 mm are made to be worn daily, but they can bend under heavy pressure, so take the ring off for the gym or manual work. If you work with your hands a lot, choose a band of 1.5 mm or wider.
Can a gold promise ring be engraved?
Yes. Most bands can be engraved inside with initials, a date or a short word, which stays private to the wearer. Add the text at checkout or send it to us with the product link; engraving adds up to 3 business days. See all styles in our promise rings collection.
How long does it take to get the ring?
Every ring is handmade to order in 7–15 business days (engraving adds up to 3 days), then ships with USPS tracking. Orders of $100 or more ship free, arrive gift-ready in a jewelry box, and import duties for US orders are covered by us.
What if the ring doesn't fit?
Check the size with our ring size guide before ordering. Standard styles get one free resize within 30 days of delivery. Engraved and custom rings are final sale, and items bought on sale or with a promo code can only be exchanged for another size.
